We’re based in Melbourne, but we’re open to travel anywhere!

How do you work on the day?

Our observational approach means you’ll barely notice us. We’re unobtrusive, yet well positioned to capture the big and small moments as they naturally unfold.

Don’t worry though, if you’re feeling a little unsure we’re happy to provide some natural direction when required.

There's plenty of times throughout the day where this means we’re both filming, and there are also times where we assist each other.

How many hours of coverage do I need?

 We’ve found between 8 and 10 hours of coverage is perfect for almost every wedding. This takes you from preparations right through to the dance floor. Extra hours of coverage are available also.

Can I have the raw footage?

We provide The Rough Cut film in both of our packages. This is a large collection of raw footage, presented in short, continuous clips.

We move around in the same way as a photographer, taking short clips from many different perspectives. The Rough Cut allows you to see many additional moments from your day, just the way they happened.

We don’t provide ALL of the raw footage, as there’s often a lot of footage that occurs in between what is usable, but don’t worry, you’re not missing out on any of the good bits!

Do you film the ceremony in full?

This isn't something we offer, however, rest assured the main elements of your ceremony are captured, including your wedding vows, walking down the aisle and your first kiss. You'll see even more from your ceremony in The Rough Cut as well. 

 We want your wedding film to feel organic, meaning we’re always be moving and reacting to what is unfolding, not stationed in the same place.

 While we think there’s a place for full ceremony edits and continuous coverage, we don’t find this is the best way to tell your story. If we committed to filming your entire ceremony, it would detract from our creative ability to observe, scan and look for key moments.

...what about our wedding vows, speeches and first dance?

Yes, definitely. Your wedding vows, speeches and first dance are captured in full and included in the delivery for both of our packages.

Do you capture drone footage?

Drone footage can look amazing, however, it’s not particularly our style. First and foremost, our focus is human interaction and capturing emotions. We’d hate to miss an important moment of your day because we’re busy fiddling around with a drone. Again, they can look great, but we don’t find them helpful in telling your story.

How do you choose the music?

 As your films are often shared online, there’s a necessity to use licensed music. We have access to many great songs and we choose from this range.

 We’re both very particular about selecting music as it all feeds back into the storytelling process. Our process for selecting music involves a number of key factors.

Do you offer photography?

 We don’t offer photography, but we’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing photographers who we can happily recommend.
